The waterwheel from the 1700’s and it still looks amazing I am glad they use it as a teaching tool ❤️

I feel your love for the sea. There is something about water that draws our hearts towards the sea. The poppies are gorgeous and I am glad you shared their beauty with us.

Hi @fixyetbroken That dwarf Iris is one of my favorite flowers for late spring. She is just beautiful.

It's no wonder you are so exhausted with all the work you do to keep up the homestead.

I know right? I was so hopeful and they actually survived. I have seen them in the gardens this week.

It is such a wonderful experience to see them emerge and then enjoy the nectar throughout the summer.

I had to give them a fighting chance and I'm so happy they emerged.

I am surprised that you do not have more diversity with the butterflies.

We are just now starting to see the annual butterflies arrive. I have never seen a moth cocoon but that would be fun to see emerge too. You must have a plethra of different varieties to enjoy.

You are so kind, @tengolotodo I could not be happier with the results. I saw one of them flying about the gardens today and it made my heart sing.

Thanks, Joan I was not sure they would ever come out of the chrysalis stage but am so excited to see it actually happen after so many months.

They sure do brighten my day and the gardens are stunning right now. Thank you for dropping by today, @ace108. ♥

Hi Edith, I love all the peonies the same. I can't pick a favorite.

Thanks, the holly bush isn't that tall so it was easy to photograph them.

The plants look so healthy and I imagine you will have a very nice harvest.

I love how you used the tiles and bricks for your raised bed. That was a great idea and decorating the wall with the succulents, very nice indeed.

Your Clivia is beautiful! Does the Dianthus winter over well? I bought some this spring and planted it in the butterfly garden at the edge and could not remember if it lasted more than a season. Looks

That Azalea is gorgeous! You are making good progress on getting the gardens planted. The weather seems to have settled into warm nights so I am sure the plants will be fine now.

I agree with Nikv, the intruders are probably males that want to dominate the house. I am glad Kwan cried out to you for help as you told her to. Hopefully, the perfect kittens will arrive to keep her

Hi cup-bearer, the ruby peony has the largest flowers and is stunning for sure.
