That is amazing! I know how hard you work and preserving all that, oh my!

My husband bought me some sweet potatoes and its on my list of things to make this week. ;-)

Wow, you got a lot done and that garden is huge, great job!

You are definitely getting a lot of rain and cold weather. We have had much the same, but, I'm hopeful for warmer days this week.

I am sending my husband to buy sweet potatoes now that you shared this idea. I love trying new recipes. I imagine that Rhododendron is going to put on a splendid show. Hope you are doing well.

Hello my friend, yes the compost will really benefit the plants and we have been very busy spreading it all around the gardens.

Greetings to you @alborhada, yes they compost all the leaves from the townspeople and have a give-back program every year.

What a great idea to keep the acorns at bay. That is a huge job but I am sure you are happy to have that done and out of the way. We are spreading mulch all week and boy oh boy can I feel it in my back.

Oh my goodness! The poor cats are really having a rough time of it and you as well. I hope everything works out well for you all.

Great observations @jlufer I love the colorful mural.

Thank you, @kaminchan sweets are a must!

You are so right! Nothing sits on the cooling rack longer than 30 seconds with my husband hovering over the baking. lol

Oh my goodness, Gillian, then you must make some and enjoy their deliciousness.

I hope you do get to make them. Snickerdoodles are so easy and very tasty to with the cinnamon and sugar.

Snickerdoodles are second best to chocolate chip cookies, which are my fav.

There is something about cinnamon to warm the soul and satisfy a husbands sweet tooth, lol.

You're welcome any time my friend for coffee and sweets.

Thank you, @edwing357 for your support.

I love the compost and we have been spreading it on all the gardens. Happy gardening to you.

Absolutely, I agree compost is so nutrient-rich for my plants. It is awesome that or town does this every year for it's residents.
