I used a Pentak but a lot of them were taken from a distance so that was most likely the issue with focus.

Oh no, I know that must hurt. I had one for a few years that I kept in a container pot and brought it inside during the winter. I often got a good prick from the thorns too. I am sure it will be beautiful
