5 Must Know Android Tricks!!

Hey there, I’m back, now with some cool Android tricks you must know.
These tricks will let you use your device with more functions and have full access to your device….
So, lets make the most of your Android device here :

1. Limit your Mobile Data Usage:
   One of the coolest feature I’ve seen.
   Want to keep track of how far your usage is from your monthly mobile data limit? If you have ICS or above, there is an option in Data Usage Settings to set data limit according to you !!!

     <li>Head over to <strong>Settings &gt; Data Usage.</strong></li>
     <li>Set your data limit by dragging the orange line to reflect your monthly quota.</li>
     <li>Set your data usage cycle based on when your “month” starts and ends, and you’re done.</li>
     <li>You will be notified once you hit the limit you have set. Note that the tracked data usage of your phone may vary slightly than your carrier’s tracking.</li>
   </ul>
   

2. Automatic phone unlock when you’re at home:
   “Smart Unlock” is a new feature in Android 5.0 Lollipop. It removes your phone’s PIN or passcode in certain locations you trust, like home or work.
   

   <ul>
     <li>Go to <strong>Settings</strong> &gt;<strong>Security</strong> &gt; <strong>Smart Lock</strong> &gt; <strong>Trusted places.</strong></li>
     <li>Then add your trusted place(s).</li>
     <li>Your need to turn GPS on, now your phone will automatically unlock at that location.</li>
     <li>If your device is running Android 4.4 KitKat, there is a smart workaround for this. Enable installation from third-party apps by going to <strong>Settings</strong> &gt; <strong>Security</strong> &gt; Selecting&nbsp;<strong>Unknown sources</strong>.</li>
     <li>Now install “SmartLockScreen.apk”.</li>
   </ul>
   

3. Identify the apps which are slowing down your phone :
   Now you can easily stop the useless memory consuming apps without using any Third -Party Apps. This feature is hidden inside the “Developer Options”. For this you need to first enable developers options.

     <li>Enable Developer Options by going to <strong>Settings</strong> &gt; <strong>About Phone</strong> &gt; <strong>Build Number</strong>.</li>
     <li>Tap on <strong>Build Number</strong> a 7 times, and you’ll see a prompt when it’s been enabled.</li>
     <li>Go to <strong>Settings</strong> &gt; <strong>Developer Option</strong>s &gt; <strong>Process Stats</strong>.</li>
     <li>You’ll find a ranking of which apps are using the most memory (RAM).</li>
     <li>Force Stop the useless RAM consuming apps.</li>
     <li>That’s it you are done. Now you will observe your phone with lesser lags than you before.</li>
   </ul>
   

4. Unlock Android’s Easter Egg inbuilt game (Android 5.0 Lollipop):
   Google is known for creating hidden surprises in most of its offerings and for Android users each version of the platform has something special. In Lollipop 5.0, Google made a hidden
   Flappy Bird clone game, featuring the Android robot. Its a tough game
   
   To find it:-
   • Go to Settings > About Phone
   • Then tap the version number five times.
   • When a lollipop appears, tap on it and the game will appear.
   • It’s not strictly a tip – but it is a great little surprise that’s only available to Android users. Play and Score the most you can. Must try game lovers!!!!
5. Make your phone snappy with faster animation speed:
   One of the most common complaints about Android is “lagginess.” For whatever reason Google has never been able to get Android on the same buttery smooth level as iOS or
   even Windows Phone. In the last few versions they have made some serious improvements, but if you still feel like your phone is a little laggy there is a trick for
   speeding things up. Google has hidden some secret developer options inside the Settings. Inside the secret developer options is settings for animation and transition speed. Here’s how to speed things up.

     <li>Open <strong>Settings &gt; About phone.</strong></li>
     <li>Scroll down and tap on <strong>“Build number”</strong> 7 times</li>
     <li>Now go back to Settings and you should see new <strong>“Developer options”</strong></li>
     <li>Adjust the window and transition animation scales to 0.5x or turn them off completely.</li>
   </ul>
