¡Hola a todos! Como la gran mayoría, crecí viendo en la televisión pública animes como Dragon Ball o Los Caballeros del Zodiaco. Siendo pequeña y desconociendo la existencia de otros géneros de anime, me miraba aquellas series, no por las escenas de pelea (razón por la que eran adoradas por todos) sino que las miraba por determinadas cosas que me atraían. Por ejemplo: de Dragon Ball, amaba su banda sonora, por lo que, escuchar la música era lo que me gustaba de ver la serie y de los caballeros de zodiaco, creo que me gustaban los trajes (de pequeños los llamábamos "el Sailor Moon para chicos" ja ja). Pero, siendo sincera, no disfrutaba de esos animes al cien por ciento o al menos no tanto como el resto de los niños. Y es que, nunca he sido fan de las temáticas de batalla, mucho menos si de estas se trata el eje central de las historias. Por lo que, a menos que la trama sea lo suficientemente buena, las escenas de batalla para mí, carecerán de sentido (lo siento por ser tan aburrida ja ja). Así, cuando crecí y conocí otros géneros de anime, me aparté del shonen por completo. Hasta que un día llegó a mi vida un shonen que no sólo rompió mis paradigmas, sino que me hizo fan desde la primera temporada hasta la fecha.
Hi everyone! Like the vast majority, I grew up watching anime like Dragon Ball or The Knights of the Zodiac on public television. Being small and unaware of the existence of other anime genres, I watched those series, not for the fight scenes (which is why they were adored by everyone) but I watched them for certain things that attracted me. For example: from Dragon Ball, I loved its soundtrack, so listening to the music was what I liked about watching the series and about the knights of the zodiac, I think I liked the costumes (when we were little we called them "the Sailor Moon for guys "ha ha). But to be honest, I didn't enjoy those anime 100 percent or at least not as much as the rest of the kids. And, I have never been a fan of battle themes, much less if these are the central axis of the stories. So unless the plot is good enough, the battle scenes for me will be meaningless (sorry for being so boring ha ha). So when I grew up and got to know other genres of anime, I turned away from shonen altogether. Until one day a shonen came into my life that not only broke my paradigms, but also made me a fan from the first season to date.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, ya sólo el nombre nos indica que lo que vamos a ver se trata de algo fuera de lo común. La conocí gracias a un amigo, que había visto un par de capítulos y pensaba que me podía llegar a interesar (porque los personajes los veía muy afeminados ja ja), me mostró el opening de la temporada 1: Sono chi no sadame y quedé cautivada con lo que vi, no sólo por el aspecto de los personajes y por lo atrayente de la canción, había algo que me instaba a querer descubrir de qué rayos se trataba la serie. Así que sin pensarlo, me puse a verla. La historia al principio gira en torno al joven Jonathan Joestar, un chico proveniente de una buena familia y cuyas penurias comienzan cuando otro chico, Dio Brando, llega a su vida, con la idea general de apoderarse de su dinero, de sus posesiones y de arruinarle la vida por completo. Debo admitir que todo aquello me pareció muy propio de las novelas que pasan por la televisión, lo que me gustó, quería ver hasta donde era capaz de llegar todo aquello. Sobre todo por el modo dramático y exagerado con que se desarrollaba la más mínima escena. Ese toque, tan de los años ochenta, era imposible ver en las series actuales y para mí, fue increíble porque era diferente. Todos esos efectos de sonidos, las onomatopeyas y las exageradas expresiones... sólo capturaban más y más mi atención.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and only the name tells us that what we are going to see is something out of the ordinary. I met her thanks to a friend, who had seen a couple of chapters and thought it might interest me (because I saw the characters very effeminate ha ha), he showed me the opening of season 1: Sono chi no sadame and I was captivated by what I saw, not only by the appearance of the characters and the attractiveness of the song, there was something that made me want to discover what the heck the series was about. So without thinking, I started to see her. The story at first revolves around the young Jonathan Joestar, a boy from a good family and whose hardships begin when another boy, Dio Brando, comes into his life, with the general idea of taking over your money, your possessions and ruining your life completely. I must admit that all this seemed very typical of the novels that are shown on television, which I liked, I wanted to see how far he was able to go all that. Especially because of the dramatic and exaggerated way in which the slightest scene was developed. That touch, so from the eighties, it was impossible to see in current series and for me, it was incredible because it was different. All those sound effects, the onomatopoeia and the exaggerated expressions ... just caught my attention more and more.
Sin lugar a dudas uno de sus atractivos es lo inesperada que puede resultar. Cuando la serie dio un giro inesperado, pasando del chico que quería usurpar la vida del otro a la aparición de una máscara, vampiros y poderes sobrehumanos. Quedaba tan sorprendida por el ingenio de la manipulación de la trama, que sencillamente tenía que seguir mirando para saber hasta donde iba a llegar esa locura. Pronto, descubres que el anime en sí, trata sobre el linaje Joestar, es decir, cada temporada hay un Joestar diferente, con sus aventuras y momentos por demás de bizarros. Esto no hizo más que encantarme más, en vez de obligarte a seguir la vida de un mismo protagonista de inicio a fin (y triste si el personaje no te agrada), la serie te ofrece la oportunidad de conocer a varios Jojo con personalidades muy diferentes entre sí, pero con la misma convicción por sus ideales ¿Y las escenas de batalla? ¡Simplemente grandiosas! ¡Por qué? porque aquí no gana el que tiene más músculos o sabe más de meter golpes, gana el que tiene un mayor ingenio y es capaz de utilizar sus habilidades de una manera efectivamente estratégica para salir airoso en el combate. Y si eso le agregamos que todas esas batallas están desbordadas de ese elemento exagerado, inesperado y bizarro, es imposible no quedarse en ocasiones en shock por el desenlace de algún enfrentamiento. Sobretodo luego de la aparición de los Stands, aquellos entes espirituales surgidos de la esencia de su portador.

This only enchanted me more, instead of forcing you to follow the life of the same protagonist from beginning to end (and sad if you do not like the character), the series offers you the opportunity to meet several Jojo with very different personalities with each other, but with the same conviction for their ideals. And the battle scenes? Simply great! Why? because here the one with the most muscles or knows more about hitting does not win, the one with the greatest ingenuity and is able to use his skills in an effectively strategic way to succeed in combat wins. And if we add that all those battles are overflowing with that exaggerated, unexpected and bizarre element, it is impossible not to be sometimes in shock by the outcome of a confrontation. Especially after the appearance of the Stands, those spiritual entities that emerged from the essence of their bearer.
Otro punto a destacar es la estética del anime y es que, el diseño de personajes y sobre todos sus poses, tienen un increíble atractivo visual y es lo que ha resaltado entre los demás shonen con los que te puedas encontrar. En jojo bizarre adventure, los hombres lucen poderosos, con sus músculos y portes de estatuas griegas, pero con vestimentas elegantes y hasta coloridas, como si de una pasarela de moda se tratase. Ese desprendimiento de glamour de sus personajes te da a entender de que los hombres no temen lucir bien, ya sea en su vida cotidiana sino también en una batalla. O por lo menos a mí me gusta ver a los chicos con corpulentos cuerpos usando ropa ajustada y colorida je je ¿Qué les puedo decir? Los hombres tienen derecho a verse imponentemente fabulosos.
Another point to highlight is the aesthetics of the anime and is that, the design of characters and all their poses, have an incredible visual appeal and it is what has stood out among the other shonen with which you can find. In jojo bizarre adventure, the men look powerful, with their muscles and bearing like Greek statues, but with elegant and even colorful clothing, as if it were a fashion runway. That detachment of glamor from his characters makes you understand that men are not afraid to look good, either in their everyday life but also in battle. Or at least I like to see guys with big bodies wearing tight and colorful clothes heh heh What can I tell you? Men have the right to look stunningly fabulous.
La banda sonora al igual que los temas para los openings y los endings me parecen que estan acorde a cada temporada. Me gustan todos, pero el de la temporada 1 tiene una menciòn especial en mi corazòn, ya que fue el que me animó a mirar el anime, es más, quisiera tener la voz grave únicamente para poder cantarlo decentemente ja ja
The soundtrack as well as the themes for the openings and the endings seem to me to be according to each season. I like them all, but the one from season 1 has a special mention in my heart, since it was the one that encouraged me to watch the anime, what's more, I would like to have a low voice only to be able to sing it decently ha ha
Cuando miré Jojo hace unos años atrás, muy poca gente de mi circulo lo conocía, fue divertido hablarlas sobre el anime con fervor y un fanatismo tan grande, como si estuviera hablando de una religión ja ja me alegro de que éste anime haya llegado a mi vida, me dio muchos momentos de emoción que hacía tiempo que un anime no me los transmitía (al menos no en casi todos sus episodios), aparte de animarme a darle la oportunidad a los shonen. Espero con ansias que emitan la temporada seis para ver las aventuras del próximo jojo y si, yo también he intentado hacer las jojo poses y me han tronado varios huesos en el proceso ja ja
When I looked at Jojo a few years ago, very few people in my circle knew him, it was fun to talk about anime with fervor and such a big fanaticism, as if he were talking about a religion ha ha I'm glad this anime has reached me life, it gave me many moments of emotion that an anime had not transmitted to me for a long time (at least not in almost all its episodes), apart from encouraging me to give shonen a chance.
