The kinda reminded me of Riot Grrrl, like Bikini Kill, though Wikipedia says L7 preceded both Grunge and Riot Grrrl. Interesting parallels! Kinda like how Nina Hagen is considered an outlier of New Wave.

That's where the idea of an outdoor kitchen comes from. Why would you subject yourself to even more heat, trapped in a small enclosure, when it's hot enough as it is? Are those things popular in Spain?

Yes. I don't think it was intended as a hostel per se, but the free breakfast in the common area made it feel like one. Also, the staff is super nice, and it was just a chilled experience overall.
