#1 Overland Track highlights (Tasmania travels) by @mrhill

We did this walk as part of a guided tour - the group comprised two guides and eight walkers. We followed the traditional six day, five night schedule. We carried our tents, mattresses, all-weather gear and a portion of the group’s food. However, there was a food drop on the third night so we didn’t need to carry food for the entire six days. We were very lucky with the weather in that there was only a bit of rain during the six days. One of the main perks of doing this hike with a tour group was that the guides made all our meals for us.

#2 Loy Krathong: it's time to let it go and restart by @helgalubevi

Loy Krathong is one of the most popular festivals in Thailand. The famous "festival of lights" attracts people from all over the world to see the beautiful scenery of the sky illuminated by countless paper lanterns. Although the lanterns make the festival famous, the main ritual of the event is not connected to them, but to the Krathong, a kind of floating ornament that should be thrown into any nearby river.

#3 A Ferry Ride to Watsons Bay by @betterthanhome

When you´re in Sydney, one thing you should definitely do is a Ferry Ride. Taking the Ferry in Sydney is not only a good way to get around and save hours of time, it also is like a little sightseeing tour. Especially when you´re leaving from Circular Quay or if you end up there. That´s why I took my Mum on a Ferry Ride to Watsons Bay while I was showing her Sydney beginning of this week.
