Anyone who follows me will have realised I keep my posts short and sweet and this one will be no exception. Suffice it to say and I'm no grammar Nazi but “I” has been massively over used in recent years when Me would have been more appropriate.
Some may comment that to communicate is the most important thing “here here” but here's a quick example and cause of great debate just this evening.
Here we go!
…….”they invited you and me to dinner” some/many nowadays would be tempted to say …….”they invited you and I to dinner”.
The test would be to separate the sentence joined by and. …… they invited you to dinner and …...they invited I to dinner which hi-lights this misconception.
