Hello World
People often says never discuss politics or religion as they are too emotive but can anybody help? I've been dating this (in my eyes) hot woman for a while now. She has a very strong #Christian faith which I'm perfectly fine about. That's not my problem. She has been encouraging me to attend church with her which I've been going now for about 2 years. Naturally this keeps her happy! But I have to say I just don't get it! I struggling with the whole god thing.
My partner strong believes in #creation whereas I'm more of an evolution believer. She doesn't question anything in the bible whereas I always read between the lines so to speak.
I enjoy going to church on Sundays. The people are really friendly and welcoming. I believe I've made some friends.
I think the core principles of #Christianity are sound in fact you don't have to believe in #God to realise that - however I'm unable to make the next step because I just don't get it.
I'm beginning to wonder whether God is just the overwhelming effect of positive energy being projected by people but on a massive scale and this positive-ness can make amazing this happen...... I can get that. But an almighty I'm yet to be convinced.
