RE: Got a new toy

I read about these a while back and recall them having a really great rating. Fantastic battery life if I remember correctly and far more robust than the few would suggest.

RE: Thunderstorms out to sea

We've been here 4 years and I think I've paddled once. 4 steps in and the water is up to your neck 😅

It’s amazing what a positive effect all those good chemicals have on your body and mental state.

RE: Room for more on top!

I managed to overload a skip when house clearing before we moved. The lorry driver got his own back as the stabilisers sunk a lovely hole in the driveway when he lifted it. Thankfully the people who bought

RE: A morning trip to Southwold (Suffolk)

Yes you can book tours around the brewery. I've been around Tring brewery before but Adnams looks massive in comparison. I think the kids enjoyed the fresh air and exploring. It wasn't heir favourite place

RE: Waiting 20 years!

I always offer trades people a refreshment and often a bacon butty if it's early in the day. I've never met vegan trades person so far :D

RE: Wednesday Wellbeing Club | 11 August - 24 November | Week 1: Wednesday 18 August 2021

What a great idea! Setting some sort of mission and goals is a great way to keep motivated. Something that seems so bloomin' obvious but many, such as myself seem to miss the importance of.

I’ve always been a bit of a morning person. I enjoy watching the world come to life.

RE: Day Two - Home from Home

Looks like a perfect Charlie sized spot! Would love to explore Exmoor, is that where they have lots of wild horses? Possibly Dartmoor - I dunno, it was a moor.

RE: The story of Row 6 - Body Snatchers Row

I think Norwich is safe as long as you're not a witch. I seem to recall a story of a dunking stool or something. If you survived the dunking in the river you were obviously a witch and were therefore burnt

The Captains House looks pretty lovely from the outside at least!

RE: First Night

Never been to Lynmouth but it looks like a stereotypical (lovely) Devon/Cornall coastal village. Must get down that way again before I die.

RE: Hoping for a good soaking

There's a thing about Sky based things and Internet today. I gather Sky managed to kill their connections here in the east all on their own earlier 😅

RE: Morning Run - Drip drop

I was our local park run made it on the news this weekend due to the turnout. We're still waiting for the rain though...although it has been cooler the ground really needs a good soaking. No to the extent

RE: Morning Run - Hot foot

They could if they were here but I usually exercise over my lunch break. Last day at school for them today though so I may end up with a support act.

RE: Morning Run - Hot foot

It looks like you've had some high temperatures down your way. We've got off quite lightly really, it has been warm but manageable due to the nice sea breeze. I swapped cycling today for another Joe Wicks

Blimey, it does still look lovely and green.
