RE: Trip to Budva, Montenegro

It looks beautiful! Although I've travelled with work, I've not been away on a nice summer get away for years. Maybe next year!

I think I'm 90% there! Performs pretty well other than I can't get the sound working. I'll tackle that another day. 32bit is a little old school but it'll help me sweat a little more use out of the old

RE: Breathing life into an old dog (or laptop)

I have to be honest, it took me a while to get the guts to do it but it would essentially be a brick by the end of the year. Ubuntu is working pretty well on it other than I can't get any sound. I'll be

RE: Day 4 in isolation and 2.5 days of cleaning out the study

I've been trying to breath life into my original MacBook Pro from 2006 so the kids can use it. It has been fighting me all the way! OSX can't support modern browsers so trying to get Ubuntu 16.04 up and

I love that place! We visited on our way back from a week break in Cornwall some 16 years ago now. May well have to plan a visit with the kids in the next few years.

RE: Tales of the Urban Explorer: Wapping First School

I've never ventured out to explore such places but should one day ... saying that I can't think of any places nearby off the top of my head. Might have to go exploring once the restrictions are lifted.

RE: first plane broke the silence in a week this morning.

"spend the time doing things that are constructive and clean and tidy out the crap around you, go minimal, downsize, eat less, ration those portions" Just about sums up my journey at the moment

RE: My Actifit Report Card: March 25 2020

Fingers crossed spring is here to stay! The dog is not happy with the one hit of exercise a day thing...she's proper miffed by it all. I keep trying to tell her that it's for the good of her fellow citizens,

I'm mostly taking the rough with the smooth. I was made redundant and given a months notice in early Feb before lock down. Since then the job market has kind of collapsed with everything else :) This is
