RE: Early birthday present

Ha! Yes I can't find many tents to fit in comfortably ... this is another. I've put it in a fairly sheltered part of the garden so fingers crossed it stays put. The cover is tied on the inside, I've also

RE: Isolation - daily exercise and something a little different on the beach

It's quite often the case that it look particularly stormy in one direction but completely clear in the other. We seem to have a little microclimate here and although it can get wild, I'd quite often drive

I'd say it was about the size of my thumb - far too big for my liking!

RE: What's in your garden? (OMG I'm turning into a twitcher)

That sounds more like the ones in London which get called flying rats (or similar).

Indeed. What a fantastic thing to be involved in. This particular plane was refurbished at Duxford around 2017. I tend to go there annually so hope to get a trip down there later this year.

Oh yes, certainly not short of a gull or two! I was excited to see a pheasant out the front of the house the other day. That was completely random. We have some bits of prey that I can hear when I take

Yes we have lots of pigeons over here. We're fairly remote so we tend to see more Woodpigeon than...well I'm not sure what they're called but the more common one. I'm not sure if they're as nasty as the

RE: Setting a Precedent

Indeed, and organisations are likely to realise they do not need so much expensive office space to operate, especially those who maintain standby "seats" for business continuity purposes.

RE: Setting a Precedent

I think the current situation is the birth of new more flexible ways of working ... in the most part. There will obviously be exceptions. I've been working from home one or two days a week in my previous

Black vinyl roof! Proper old school. I dug out the old BBC Life on Mars box set last night and ogled at the old cars. Maybe one day!

RE: Bozzlife: Giving Life

I used to donate but can't these days due to a blood disorder. Well, it's not the disorder itself it's the drugs I have to take to treat it. Odd how I manage to feel guilty not being able to donate any

RE: My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2020

It's amazing how quiet is it out and about. I've been on a long walk with the dog for the past few days covering around 4 miles along the coast and through a (normally) busy seaside village (well town

RE: It's a squirrel! How I think I found my new hobby!

Photography is a great release and personally I find it great for maintaining mental health. Why? Well it just gets you out and about looking at things you'd normally walk past without giving them a second

RE: Sunset patterns

Lovely job! I've not tried tinkering with long exposures too much - a bit silly really as we've within a mile of the beach. Maybe a project for when lockdown is lifted.

RE: The Onion Experiment

What a great project and what a perfect time to be most self sufficient in certain things. We created a small patch in our garden for growing last year and had some success. I've extended it slightly this

A V6 eh! I imagine they were pretty rare in their time let alone today. My dad had the standard 1.6L if I recall correctly. I seem to recall it having a really poor handbrake - dad had to remember to leave

RE: Isolation Day 8 - First long walk, who stole all the sand?

Just sand as far as I can tell.
