RE: My Kind of Day

I love summer showers it's just we get them a little too often here in the UK. We had one yesterday; we were not forecast to have any. I put it down to the fact I lit the kettle BBQ so the wife and kids

RE: Rural Urbex: up in the trees

Well somebody like their second world war viewing (and reading). There's always a bottle of sauce! This one was a bit posh in comparison to the others.

RE: The story of Row 6 - Body Snatchers Row

Added it :) Yes, from what I've read many were very open that the bodies they were working on had been snatched. I'm guessing the crime of snatching them had been committed by then so few seemed bothered

RE: My Actifit Report Card: July 28 2020

Interestingly I stumbled across a photo I took at that very location whilst writing a post about my trip to Tresco last week. It's a small world.

RE: Industrial Urbex; workshops for the disabled

So much machinery just sat there and no doubt stuff you could do some proper personal damage with. Would love to give it a go! (the machines not the personal damage)

RE: Developing a Lisp

I studied Turbo Pascal at college and although I enjoyed it, I was rubbish. Would probably have been better if I spent more time studying it instead of sitting in the local pub with the Pascal book in

RE: Morning Run - Round and round

I should have been out these past few days but have woken up too late. Much warmer across there than it is here, still quite toasty though.

RE: Morning walk with the Fujifilm X-T1 (Black and White)

Aha! I was in the process of trying to get a job at UEA but jobs were pulled when the Covid thing kicked off. I love Norwich as a city and part of me wishes we had tried to find a house there....but then

RE: Morning walk with the Fujifilm X-T1 (Black and White)

It has been playing with my brain as I'm used to a Canon SLR. I keep forgetting where all the controls are!

RE: Rural Urbex: time capsule with comfy seats

Looks like a perfect location to keep some wound wash! Love the old books and papers. Could spend hours and hours mooching through stuff like that.

RE: Morning run, but Garmin is down

I had the urge to go out for a second time yesterday evening but thought better of it. Those Garmin devices are nice looking. I do like watches with round faces on them.

RE: My journey to Linux

I've been dipping my toe in and out of Linux for a few years now and have to say it is very good. I would make the shift 100% but I have some software packages that I can't get on Linux. I get around that

RE: ...........

Those Ospreys are amazing machines, I used to see them a lot driving along the A47 between Downham Market and Norwich. Being allowed in must be pretty awesome!
