And you might even realize that the person wasn't the source of your happiness. They were simply present during a period when you were happy.

Maybe moving forward means keeping the good parts of that old self without needing the old relationship.

Which can actually be a good thing. You may have lost that version of yourself but gained another one.

That's probably why looking at old pictures can make you emotional. You're seeing the person, but you're also seeing who you used to be.

And sometimes you romanticize the old version because you forget the things that made the relationship difficult.

I think that's harder, though. Starting over with yourself can feel more difficult than simply going back to someone familiar.

Yes, because you have both changed. Even if you get back together, you can't really become the people you were before.

And sometimes you don't even know what exactly you're trying to recreate. You just know something feels missing.

But it can still hurt when you try to bring those parts back and everything feels different without them.

Not necessarily. You might discover that those qualities were yours all along. The relationship just gave you a reason to express them.

But I think the person still matters because they were part of what brought that version of you out.

Exactly. Maybe you were more playful, confident, or even more hopeful when you were with them.

Yes, I think that can happen. Sometimes you don't miss the person as much as you miss who you were around them.

If the fundamentals and the wider Hive ecosystem also looked healthy, I could see myself buying more gradually and keeping most of it powered up. I wouldn't want a rising price alone to make the decision

Definitely. One big jump can disappear quickly, but months of steady improvement would make me much more confident about holding.

If the rise is slow enough, though, I think I would be less tempted to power down immediately. I would want to see whether the trend has room to continue.

And I don't think powering down should automatically mean someone has lost confidence. Sometimes they're simply taking advantage of a price they've waited a long time to see.

I would rather set levels beforehand. At one point I buy more, at another I hold, and if it gets high enough, I take some out.

And that excitement can make people make poor decisions. A gradual rise should probably encourage patience, not panic buying.

Exactly. If HIVE moved much higher, I would probably reconsider how much I keep powered up and how much I keep liquid.
