For me, it's WhatsApp. I probably open it more times than I realize.

I usually have a cold drink and sit quietly.

I play games for a bit.

I cook something for myself. Cooking helps me relax.

I usually pray and reflect on how the day went.

Honestly, I just sleep😂

I take a short walk around the neighbourhood.

I read for a while before sleeping

I usually talk to someone I'm comfortable with

I just eat something nice and watch random videos on my phone.

I prefer sitting outside and enjoying the evening breeze.

I usually watch a movie or a few episodes of a series.

For me, it's music. I put on my headphones and listen to something calm

After a long day, I usually take a shower and just lie down for a while. It helps me reset.

So I kept doing what I could, but I stopped trying to earn their approval.

Eventually, I accepted that I couldn't control how they judged my effort

I wish I'd understood that earlier because I spent too much time blaming myself.

And sometimes you can genuinely do your best and still not meet someone's expectations

I also learned that being appreciated matters almost as much as being useful.

I still wanted to help, but I wasn't willing to keep hurting myself to do it.
