I think I'd choose my dream family. A career can change, but having the right people around you can shape your entire life.

So for me, prisoners should definitely have access to proper healthcare, even though they should still be held responsible for their crimes.

Yes. Proper healthcare could actually be part of rehabilitation rather than something separate from it.

And realistically, some prisoners will eventually return to society anyway, so rehabilitation should matter too.

Exactly. They should still face the consequences of what they did, but sickness shouldn't be one of those consequences.

But I don't think taking care of prisoners means giving them luxury or making prison comfortable.

That's the difficult part. Today it could be prisoners, tomorrow people might start finding reasons why another group doesn't deserve proper treatment.

Exactly. Otherwise, we're allowing anger toward the crime to influence how we treat the person's basic needs.

I understand why some people think that way, especially when the person committed something terrible. But healthcare shouldn't be used as another form of punishment.

I also think mental health should be taken seriously. Prison can be a very difficult environment psychologically.

Yes and some people enter prison already having health problems that may need regular treatment.

And taking care of prisoners' health can also protect other prisoners and the people working inside the prison.

I don't think it should affect their basic healthcare. A person's medical condition doesn't become less serious because they committed a crime.

Definitely. Once people hear that someone is a criminal, they sometimes stop seeing the person and only see the crime.

I think prisoners health should be taken seriously. Being imprisoned is already a punishment, so denying someone proper healthcare feels like adding another punishment.

Exactly. I don't think settling is always bad, and going after what you want isn't always wise either.

Yeah, sometimes you chase, sometimes you adapt. It depends on what you're dealing with

But I still wouldn't want to become too comfortable. Comfort can make you stop growing.

Yoooo, I think satisfaction matters too. If you're always chasing the next thing, you'll never feel like you have enough.

And sometimes the available option is actually good enough. It doesn't have to be your dream to be worth choosing.
