For me, it's whether I'm still making an effort to get what I want. If I'm not trying anymore, then I'm probably settling.

I think I'm more of a "go for what I want" person, but I'm not going to pretend I never settle. Sometimes what i want isn't realistic at that particular moment. You know

Exactly. I think adulthood makes people more selective too. We don't necessarily have the energy to maintain friendships that don't add anything meaningful to our lives.

Of course.... definitely we might meet someone we really connect with, but if we don't keep making an effort, we can easily lose touch.

I definitely think making friends becomes harder as you get older. When you're younger, We're constantly around people, so friendships happen naturally.
