Splinterlands Rebellion Social Media Challenge!
Hello guys, I hope everyone had a great Christmas. It's time for me to go back and grind so for this week I decided to draw Avina of the wolf in my style.

The Process
I chose this character mainly because I saw the glowing sword. You just can't say no to glow art haha. Found this pose on Pinterest to draw the character. Felt like it could work but I was a bit worried since the sword is close to her body so I had to think on my own about the formation of shadows on her body since the reference image doesn't have any strong light source like that. I let myself go for this one and decided to actually enjoy it while experimenting.
Face and her is not much of an issue these days. I was more interested in painting the armour. It's metal so strong contrast, right? I applied the colours and made some strokes in a way that it blends and creates nice metallic textures. I think it worked but the shoulder plate got hidden later xd. I did not think about the fur coat when I rendered the armour xd. Oh well, it was still fun to render it.
Since the glow colour is blue I decided to add one more light source behind her which looks good with the blue. I also airbrushed the back side of her hair in that colour and added some strands as well. Did the same thing with blue colour on the front side. Finished the painting by adding some lighting around the swords and a simple pink background. I hope you guys liked the painting :)
