I don't the think that the one your are showing in the image on top is able to measure more than your heart frequency. There is another one at Garmin which is able but more expensive. The BerryKing Heartbeat

I used the same heart beat sensor like you. Until its lifetime ends I bought the BerryKing Heartbeat 2 and it works as well as the Garmin one.

I didn't notice such a battle. :P
