North London derby sets new Premier League attendance record

LONDON -- Saturday's North London Derby between Tottenham and Arsenal at Wembley has broken the Premier League's attendance record.
The official attendance for the game was 83,222, exceeding the 81,978 who watched Spurs' win over Manchester United last month.
However, it was 38 short of the overall English league record, set in 1948 in a game between Man United and Arsenal.
