What can we do to make other top 20 witnesses signal the same 20%? You can't make anybody vote how you want. But you can express your view to try to convince and also change your witness votes.

I assume this is how the HIVE code calculates the interest rate Correct

Yes sending to savings will trigger any interest that is ready to be claimed (once per month).

Thank you for the words of support.

We have enough for now to get to 15%.

Excellent perspective and not something that many (myself included) think about enough.

I don't think think any of that has changed. The rough number of $10 million I cited is just the content creator portion I believe. Curators, witness, etc. would be in addition.

I think Luna Itself will blow up to an unstable tether version That may be the goal. After all, Tether has been very successful.

It's a little sketchy but supposedly a foundation that will benefit the chain. We will see. I like the decentralized model better in most cases. For example, we could also buy other assets to serve as

We'd have to decide if we are really committed to USD or not. In the past there was some discussion that the charter is really stable value and if USD deteriorated sufficiently we could switch to something

Exchanges mostly. When you deposit to an exchange they want to make sure the deposit really happened before letting you trade or withdraw. Most other transactions can just wait the minute, or can accept

Not a problem. Would be an improvement.

Regarding the account creation fees, I think this fee should be in HBD, and not in Hive I agree with this. It likely wasn't originally because SBD didn't 'activate' until after the first post payouts (3-4

The author reward pool is about $10 million per year and interest is currently about $300-400K per year.

The HBD in the DAO doesn't count toward the haircut rule, so in reality there are only about 9M HBD circulating or in savings (those do count).

I believe most of the interest will by paid to LPs to incentivize building the pool. There might be a fee charged by the project, I don't know.

HBD may rise briefly but since you can convert $1.05 worth of HIVE into HBD, it is more likely that high demand for HBD translates into a lot of HIVE being destroyed to create more HBD. This likely drives

I meant the contribution of the interest inflation to overall Hive inflation would be 0.2%. $700K over $380M market cap.

Terra is a bit different because they have a fixed treasury that came from a premine. Hive is inflationary by design. Arbitrarily high interest paid on arbitrarily high savings would not be sustainable,

It can vary under any conditions. It is not a "promised" rate. This should always be made clear.
