RE: HBD.Funder Spam Comments Earned 1,439,172 Hive in 2021 (and they only started on March 21st)
I'd be perfectly happy to include DEX prices in my feed if there is a simple API I can use to get those prices. One thing to understand, though, is that the price feed is the price of HIVE, not HBD.

Liquidity pools don't target a peg at all. They are agnostic to the value. (As I'm sure you know, but following up here to agree that comment was dumb.)

Without the benefit of 50% of that being distributed to creators As has been explained to you many times, the benefit of that 50% is being distributed to HBD stabilizer and then to DHF, where it then goes

Yes that is exactly what happened.

and the hbdstabilizer project only applies downward pressure This is completely and utterly wrong. By design, the stabilizer applies pressure in both directions, but, in practice, it is actually the reward

RE: RAGNAROK AMA IS LIVE!
What happens to the economics of the game if the HBD interest rate drops a lot, potentially to zero? This is a what-if, not suggesting that I think this is likely to happen soon if at all, but it can't

You don't get half right away on HBD->HIVE conversion. In that direction you have to wait the 3.5 days for all of it.

I don't think you'll lose that much if you are a little careful. Stabilizer buys and sells a lot without much slippage. If there was a lot of slippage it's job would be easier. Mostly the arbitrage bots

RE: HBD Interest Payouts for December 2021
You might not get interest on such a low amount, since it may round down. I'm not sure how that works.

RE: We Are Going To Need A Lot More HBD
Resource credits have their own pool, and the RC "price" needed to perform operations on the adjusts dynamically. If the supply of HIVE/HP were to contract a lot, it is entirely possible that

I think the Block size could easily increase or become dynamic? Maybe? Would still requiring processing that data in real time (every 3 seconds). Happy new year to you as well!

if hive hits for example 400$ each, witness earnings would allow much more computing power for scaling Possibly but there can be bottlenecks that are more tied to the software architecture which don't

RE: The main excuse for malicious down-voting is "Over-Rewarded Content..." What about the account making $10k+ PER DAY in spam comments?
I don't agree with the framing of downvotes as a "stick". Downvotes and upvotes are voting where stakeholders want the rewards to go. Where stakeholders agree, the rewards flow, where stakeholders

One thing I've suggested is to route all the inflation (except maybe some or all of witness rewards, which are needed for operational security) through DHF. Stakeholders could then vote a desired amount

That looks about right to me. Summary: All of the rewards for @hbd.funder go to @hbdstabilizer and everything in @hbdstabilizer goes back to DHF to fund further projects (after being used to trade overpriced
