RE: Why are all (mostly) proposals unfunded
I agree. Another solution if it does go on is for some large stakeholders to organize a fund to temporarily pay devs and get paid back from DHF later. You would need enough large stakeholders to commit

RE: Wanna help test RC delegations ? Here's all you need to know
Agree with that. One thing I will say is that RC prices are dynamic. If there is more usage from pools then the prices will go up. So you will need to delegate more per user to the pool than you might

RE: Some speculation on HBD price movements and how it impacts proposals
I hear you. Not trying to minimize the frustration, just explaining why this is so compelling to stakeholder voters, and some of the logic behind it. It isn't a common or typical situation.

RE: Some speculation on HBD price movements and how it impacts proposals
Nobody is assessing fault here. You asked where your rent was going to come from, and I'm pointing out that you've lost a few days pay from proposals being unfunded, but gotten 10-15 extra days pay from

This comes as a one of the developers who because of this now unexpectedly has to figure out where their rent is going to come from How about from the 30-50% extra pay received over the past month as a

The ability to support more usage without exploding RC costs depends on technical limitations. How fast can nodes process blocks of a given size, how feasible is it for nodes to expand storage, how much

As noted in the other reply here, there is plenty of arbitrage between the internal and external markets. I have counted at least 10 or so bots doing it, and I may have missed some (although I can't tell

Only for things that are limiting, not for new functionality (at least not without great complexity; it is indeed theoretically possible). That's why RC is implemented as a soft fork and can be changed

When there are two payments, I believe one is for savings balance and one for regular balance. I manually checked a few accounts and didn't see any transaction related to this The interest won't be paid

I hope this works out and is sufficiently tested to make it into the next release. It has obvious utility and is powerful. However, I always felt there is a place for simple RC delegation that works like

hive.fund is included in current supply and all of the supply figures. However the HIVE that HBD can be converted into is not included in current supply (it is included in virtual supply). This applies

Hard forks are only done once or twice a year so that's a good longer term solution, but not short term. Even after a conversion hard fork is implemented, there may still be room for funds doing trading

I agree on that point. It's a trade off. It depends on the relative merits, and that's both a question of judgement and numbers. At some level of financial ROI and supply reduction it probably doesn't

They can still pay hosting costs getting overvalued HBD for one month (which would be more than needed for hosting, unless hosting is priced in HBD, which I doubt) and then getting cut off for a while.

I don't agree it leaves anything where it started, because even if the prices go right back down to where they were, there is less HIVE in circulation. That makes it more viable long term, because it leaves
