RE: For the First Time, I Might Be Losing Faith in Steem...
Great! No question it is value add. I wasn't aware of that video, so it is definitely informative. Now as a content creator, I'm sure you have some idea of a market value on views, typical conversion rates,

They're good suggestions, but unfortunately both at least somewhat unworkable. I appreciate the sincere engagement in any case. I'd add this though: too subjective There is no such thing as "too

There's really not a big difference in practice. If every post of mine gets hidden and downvoted, that's effectively the same as being shut down. The technicalities of it all are irrelevant in practice,

That's the nature of any platform where earnings are not derived from advertising, subscriptions, etc. There aren't many of these (maybe just one), so yes it can seem a bit strange. It is Steem stakeholders,

My message at one time would've been "if you don't like being at the mercy of employees at YouTube, join Steemit!" But now you're just swapping being at the mercy of YouTube employees, with being

You make a good argument for removing the contentious content voting aspect from STEEM itself, so the whole community can unite behind it.

I downvoted that other post because I thought it was overrewarded (though I'm pretty sure my vote didn't put it below zero). I'm even more sure that this whiny post is overrewarded, so I'm downvoting this

That is quite possible. On the matter of programmatic selling, I think I mentioned above but not sure: Programmatic selling is about 1/3 of inflation. Even if inflation were cut in half, it would still

The organic demand is exactly what you say, a source of RC. The problem is that the numbers demonstrate clearly that for such demand to support the price in a viable way requires a scale of growth that

In my view trying to appeal to more short term "investors" is not the way to go. There is nothing wrong with speculating but the main issue that we need to address is getting adoption of the

You're not forced to power-up the Steem, so the comparison to Bitcoin is like comparing apples with oranges. You can hodl Steem in your wallet, same as Bitcoin If you don't power up, you incur the full

Did they lose their mind or do they just want to leave us as fast a possible? Nobody at this point wants to reduce the power down time in order to leave faster. 13 weeks is more than fast enough for anyone

They're entitled to their opinion on what is vote trading, what is adding value, etc. I'd just like to see some guidelines that are enforced community wide... There won't be any, other than perhaps what

Sorry, I had the numbers reversed (due to a dumb coding error in my query), and you may not have seen the edit. Still either way it is close to 50/50 and only a tiny portion of my downvotes.

I just looked at my history. I have voted you 83 times, of which 37 were upvotes and 46 were downvotes. Which BTW, is out of a total of 4457 downvotes.

It may because vote trading and vote selling (which are equivalent) is damaging to the game theory behind PoB as has been explained in posts many, many times going back three years. So it comes down to

Shame you have chosen to focus on mine while disregarding the majority of the other hundreds/thousands that you also deem not worth the reward yet rarely act on them. Pretty sure you are wrong about that.

So, by your own definition, you deem that almost nothing on here adds value as you vote for your burnpost every single day and rarely anything else? My personal view is that there is not much being posted
