RE: [Proposal] Improvents to the proposal system
Another small improvement we could use is to put the proposal id in the account history entry for payouts. Currently it isn't there.

RE: OCDB and Downvotes | A #NewSteem approach
The one identified in the post is making large enough payout to benefit from the curve rather than be hurt by it. Which is part of why we even know about it, because such large payouts make it more obvious.

I agree with you but the emphasis in the discussion on 'voting circles' tends to, perhaps more than intended, and almost certainly more than is ideal, put the focus on who is voting, who is receiving votes,

Re. #5 My suggestion is to state a minimum required funding for the work to be done and if you get less than that, send it back to SPS.

Yeah I understand what you are saying about downvotes being used as a malicious competitive tool and I'm certainly not in favor of that. Anyway thanks for taking the initiative on this now as you have

considering the fork was only 4 or so days ago Yup. What really matters is how this all plays out over the next several months. The early changes are exciting but that's also a bit of a trap because once

Dare I say it almost seems difficult to find posts to downvote right now, Yeah, you're right about this. There is definitely a lot of value in looking for the more hidden abuses right now. I just don't

It would be irresponsible from our side and it would represent a conflict of interest if a stake distribution service downvotes posts that received bidbot votes... and since most of the posts trending

I would be against this currently as the Bitshares system (upon which SPS is based) has a track record of working fine using the return (or burn) mechanism. Introducing structural changes to a complicated

Please address vote totals for inactive (upcoming) proposals. This is needed for stakeholders to know how to vote but the only way to calculate it currently is to retrieve all votes and add them up. This

RE: Reduced Inflation Proposal
Another way to do this would be to have multiple smaller proposals (say 100 SBD each, or perhaps an assortment of sizes like physical coins: 100,100,100,100,500,etc.). As many as desired could be voted

Okay, but no need to buy votes to reward yourself for your incompetence. Downvoted.

I think a better proposal would mirror @burnpost in trading the SBD for STEEM if the price of SBD is $1+, and burning the resulting STEEM, and either burning or converting (via blockchain convert function)

The recent blockchain update introduced the ability to submit proposals of work for payment. There isn't a UI to see this on steemit.com yet but you can see it here:

The rest of your comment is old news, and we don't even disagree that a lot of the reward payouts have been captured by large stakeholders. We disagree on what HF21 is attempting to do (IMO it is specifically
