My worry would be if the .458 ended up in the 5.56 upper; since they use the same magazines. If I had to stop a truck in the military, I'd use an m60 or an m14. That .308 will destroy and engine block...among

I'm trying to limit the AR platform to 5.56; and rely on others for the heavier rounds. The chance of misloading non compatible ammunition can be avoided that way. I guess an AR9 would be okay, because
