All good ideas. Use what you can maintain yourself. I plan to salvage one of the old style satellite dishes to put my solar panels on. They are usually free for the taking if you agree to remove them.

I started with a piece of stained glass where I lighted parts of a stained glass panel internally. I tried it first with a mini florescent, but the bulb was too difficult to build into the structure!

Yes, been pretty busy, but it's a lot of fun! I've been thinking about making a 3 D Christmas tree, with built in lights. I've Put some lights into the joints in the glass. It's hard, but I like it!
