Thank you for the reply, it appears I need to go back to edit that and add the word hours. Yes, its a long process to freeze dry something. Initially it takes 8 hours just to get the temperature down below

Those are a great unit. That was our plan B if the grinder attachment didn't work out well. We can get almost a 3rd more juice by running the residue several times.

Thank you. It was all grown using the Mittleider method. Since we started gardening with it we have been able to grow more food in less space than with a traditional garden.

There are some great juicers out there, even a few that are electric. The electric ones can be a little expensive, around $100 when I last looked. but they really speed up the process if you have a lot

It is definitely canning season. We use and love the Ball Blue book too, so many wonderful recipes in there. Canning outside is such a good idea, it just adds way too much heat to the house.

Annual rainfall is enough to gauge which you will need, but if you're concerned you can confirm with your local gardening center which one you will need.

Very few people test their compost to determine what nutrients are in their compost, and what percentages is there. Some of the absolute best compost has a small percentage of just 3 nutrients a plant

If your compost is complete it will work for you. We use a small amount of nutrients that are derived from rocks mined from the earth, and placed only in the root zone of the plants in our garden on a

It was in there, plants can not use nutrients that are in an organic form. It has to be inorganic water soluble for a plant to take it in through osmosis.
