The many shapes of Chalcedony. Small finds while scouting the Mojave Desert.

Yet to find the name of this shrub. I take the yellow flower to be a warning. The smell it releases is pungent smell.
The smell this plant lets into the air is toxic nose hair burning smell. The yellow flowers are beautiful but definitely don't touch. Still have not found the identity. Any clues?? Your friend Gama @skylines82

I believe this is a Fire Agate formation. I was stoke out when i seen it next to the pine tree i was watering this morning.
I rushed inside and put it over a flash light to see how it would glow and i was not disappointed. Check it out! What are your thoughts on it? Your friend Gama @skylines82

Thanks to @bitfiendd for knowledge & tips in geology. His advise to use flashlight on some of my rock formation. The is glow is freaking awesome!!
Hope you guys enjoy these images as much as i do.. Big smiles when i saw the different light glow. From orange colors to transparent glow. For me begining a rookie amateur Rockhound, i am smiling big time

Geode i was saving to cut open properly but my six year old beat me to it... He dropped the rock and it cracked like an egg. LoL
So i present to this community this cool formation. Seven raw cracked pieces is now the new shape of this geode. Hope you rockhounds have much fun hunting them. Your friend Gama @skylines82

My second Geode i find. I was stoke out when i seen this one. I shake it and can hear rattling inside this hollow formation.

Rockhounding this morning here in Golden Valley.

This morning my Apricot tree is showing more sign of great spring weather.
