A strange noise is humming and the squirrels are in a defensive stance.
What on earth could it be? Is it the end of the squirrel world?

Up into the trees all the other squirrels went.
The smart ones dropped whatever they were doing and sprang to higher ground.
The slow ones tried their best but ended up getting stuck and pulled by some invisible force.

The young overly confident ones thought they could just keep enjoying their treats out in the open.
Down they sank into oblivion.
The seasoned veterans know that sometimes strange portals open in the grassy fields and suck unfortunate squirrels into another dimension. Then randomly many years later a squirrel from decades ago suddenly gets spit out onto a major league baseball field and gets chased by humans. Odds are, this strange phenomena is related to the opening of the Hadron Collider and an exotic particle made it to this peaceful grassy area. Beware the peaceful open grassy fields squirrels.
