What happened? They bought groceries with it, fed their kids with it, paid their internet bills with it, if a witness, and below about #40 or so on the list, then they are losing money being a witness at all, and they paid their $80-100 a month server rental bill with it, they donated it to the charities on the chain, they used it to pay their mortgages.
How does wallet value in any way equal contribution or quality of content value in any way whatsoever? They have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
I build dapps here, rent servers for them, run a witness node and manage another for someone else, those servers cost money, I have bills to pay "in real life" - I have 7 years on this chain, have been very very high profile in large communities here, given a lot of free tools and software to the community over the years, guided minnows, taught chain mechanics to people, 10s of thousands of hours spent in one on ones helping folks with all the things.
And I am not the only one who has done that, and also had to pay for real life things. Are we to be considered "suspect" because we paid our rent?
My wallet is pretty flat. Sometimes I withdraw and pay for the things.
My content is well received, and gets attention and some votes.
They all have nothing to do with each other.
