I have another set of miniature replica coins to show you. These are genuine 999 Fine Silver and copper replica coins.

They came especially packaged from the Shire Post Mint.

Tom Maringer purchased his first antique coin press in 2001, which marked the start of Shire Post Mint. Since he was young, he has been passionate about collecting coins, and the years he spent making knives equipped him with the metallurgical skills he needed to begin producing coins. The methods employed in the 1800s and earlier are still the same for manually engraving steel dies and pressing them one at a time.

Shire Post Mint has developed into a internationally renowned business with a reputation for fine craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Above is a replica of the $20 gold piece sculpted by Augustus St.Gaudens in solid 999 Fine Silver. It is 1/4 inch in diameter.

And below is a replica of the $20 gold piece sculpted by Augustus St.Gaudens in solid copper, also quarter of an inch.

Shire Post Mint uses hand-engraved steel dies that have been hardened and mounted in vintage coin presses. They design the coins into solid metals, in this case, 999 fine silver and solid copper. They engrave, strike, finish, package, and ship the coins from their workshop in West Fork, Arkansas.
