The more I work with it the easier it gets. The first page where they were at the table I made the table on the same layer as the characters which means I wouldn't be able to move them around. So, yeah,

I sketch in black, usually with a fat pastel tool first then a sharper pencil on the same layer, then convert the whole mess to blue.
