Well, Switzerland is nice. I lived and worked there for quite a while and enjoyed it a lot. First Zurich, later Basel. Great cities both of them, but very different. And then there are the mountains.

The food is awesome, at least if you like a hearty kitchen. And the wine is great too. Simple, solid and just tasty. Depending on where you usually go to in Switzerland, it a stone‘s throw from Basel.

There were never any footprints or trails then That's what I like most about snowshoe hiking. You can go in remote areas and walk into the clean and untouched snow. Just some animal tracks here and there.
