Part of Growth Marketing is a logistics game. How efficiently can you generate growth by executing customers, data, and campaigns across channels? The goal is to become a Full-Stack marketing. Stacks on stacks.
1.) Google Tag Manager (aka GTM)
- Look this up. A great challenge for many marketers is that they often have to bother developers to drop in javascript codes to websites for various tools, tracking etc. This creates a logistics nightmare and leaves you at the mercy of the devs to response. With GTM, this allows you to drop one piece of code on a site, and then add/edit/manage other scripts from the GTM dashboard.
2.) Google Analytics
- Learn how to drop the code into the site. This will start tracking all traffic. This is a must! Track traffic & results!
3.) Ad Pixels for retargeting ads
- Core: Facebook, Google
- Optional: Twitter, LinkedIN, Pinterest
- Always drop pixels on your site so you can cookie every user that comes through your website. You CANNOT retro active pixel people. So always drop these ASAP. This will allow you to grow your retarget pool.
4.) Conversion Optimization (CRO) Tool - Exit-Intent
- Tools like Sumo(dot)com or OptinMonster
- These help increase conversions on any site by capturing people who are about to leave / bounce. Highly recommend.
5.) Email System, Capture, Automation
- Mailchimp to start.
- AutopilotHQ for sales / automation.
6.) A/B Testing via Optimizely -
- Allows you to split test anything on your page.
7.) Ad Automation & Split Testing via Adespresso
- Allows you to run ads efficiently, automate & scale.
**8.) Social Media Management **
- Run all Social!
-Check Buffer, SproutSocial, Hootsuite.
9.) Social Media Content via Canva
- Create beautiful social images fast.
10.) Automate Tasks IFTT
- These is by far one of my most favorite tools. They connect can make two apps that normally don't talk to each other. Pretty much central glue.
