What is a Marigold flower ?? ... 馃槝
My village elder person used to call it "chicken dung flowers" 馃槄 (sorry his name sounds disrespectful / disgusting). 馃檱
Why is that so called? ... This is because the leaves and flowers smell like no savory / uncomfortable. Leaf shape is almost the same as the plant keningkir, while the flowers are similar to the flowers' Mum, there are also varieties like sunflowers. Marigold flower colors vary, because the variety is also a lot. There are yellow, orange, maroon, gold color, as for flowers with mixed colors, eg maroon color mixed with orange, red color with golden color. There is a short height of only about 30cm, but there is a high type with a height of 60cm.
