While blockchain halts suck, the other options are much worse. I will take a temporary halt any day of the week if they don’t happen often. Plus, state files will be a big improvement for getting the chain

Exactly. I think they are just burning tokens from their own coffers but since they are never on the market in the first place it doesn’t have a direct impact on price. If I understand it correctly.

I agree with this as well. A little buy pressure makes a big difference on the price. Buying 1000 Steem a month worth of AFIT off Steem-engine and burning it would make a huge difference in price.

Is it possible there could be 10 HUNT coins for instance? ID# 4534, 24675, 3421, etc? Won’t that just be confusing, especially when trading on the open market? That would be a huge issue in my opinion.
