Looking forward to another dishwasher saga!

Interesting. It's rather dry everywhere in my area, but perhaps by the lake I'd find some.

Thanks. I do have a similar recipe I got from a friend years ago but my patties never turn out nice and round and brown like yours. I'll have to experiment a bit! We do like them with applesauce on top!

"Arise" does sound more elegant than "get up."

I suppose we have thimbleberries in the area, but I haven't notice any.

Some of those same things are happening at my house this week, too. Have you posted your recipe for zucchini patties? If not, would you?

That looks like a marvelous program! I haven't been to a concert for a long time. I miss it.

Thank you for sharing that information. Those of us who don't have ADHD or executive dysfunction just don't "get it", but your explanations are helping. And I always enjoy the nature photos you

I didn't plant peas this year because the ground squirrels nibbled off they little plants last time I tried to grow them. Nor did I plant cabbage or green beans; I knew I wouldn't have the energy for the

My garlic isn't quite ready to harvest yet, but it should be soon!So far we're only eating zucchini and broccoli, but it's a start.

Well, that sure worked out well for everybody!!

It has been a long time since we made homemade ice cream. That's good stuff!

I am very grateful for our a/c when that heat and smoke combo arrives. I hope you get relief from both soon! It's very warm here, too, and we did get some smoke earlier today, but then the wind shifted

My mother made raisin oatmeal cookies. My sisters and I all have the recipe, and we have each made it multiple times, but it never turns out quite the way we remember our mother's did. It's a mystery.

The only great secret I can think of offhand might be a secret ingredient in a recipe.

I often have to wait until 3-4 a.m. to open windows and set up a fan, because we live on a very dusty dirt/gravel road. By early morning there's usually a little dew to hold the dust down for a couple

Your post has inspired me to write a similar one of my own! (Soon, I hope.) I, too, had a job as a dishwasher.

Those little white flowers are among my favorites. When I was a kid, we called them trillium, but that might not have been accurate.

I harvested the first zucchini earlier this week. More are on the way. I see tiny yellow crooknecks out there, too. Yesterday was the first real picking of raspberries; prior to that, I'd just been grazing.

Thanks for stopping by!
