How interesting to read your post, written from the perspective of a professional musician. I can see why you have to follow through with performances, even if other things have come up that seem important

Your job sounds very complicated, but you seem to have a good system worked out for dealing with many situations that arise.

I think it's good that you are learning to limit the amount of time you spend on your projects, especially since you were getting stressed out. Even doing things we enjoy can take a toll on our mind and

I have sometimes done what you just described so well. I am most likely to question conversations after they are over if I was too tired at the time, or if too many other conversations were swirling around

Wow, your garden is huge! And it's way ahead of ours. Your climate must be warmer, and perhaps you also have a nice greenhouse. Is that an orchard in the background of some of the photos? It looks great!

Interesting! I guess those dialects come from many places.

I don't have as many flowers as you have. Just the lilacs, columbines, and a bleeding heart. Later there should be Siberian iris and some lilies. Just yesterday I learned why the bearded iris hasn't bloomed

P.S. And I like the eggshells idea! I'll need to start saving them next winter.

I am getting desperate to get rid of the bindweed. However, it is so well-established by now, I suspect that's a hopeless cause. I was hoping the cover crop of clover would deter the bindweed, but it just

My dad also grew up in a German speaking household speaking low German,or Niederdeutsch. His parents/grandparents came from the northern part of Germany. After I had lived for a few months in Germany in

You got that right!

I do love the Big Sky Country! I find myself feeling a bit jealous because you are there and I am not. Guess I better go visit my sister again. Wait, that's not a summer thing to do: we are both too busy

Thanks for checking in on me! I hope to get back into posting more often than once a month. I have several posts in mind, just gotta find the time and the ambition.

I am sure the Mother Thing appreciates your efforts. It should be much sturdier now. And get that fishing license!

I feel that way when I visit my sister in the Mission Valley in Montana! I lived there for a few years, long ago, and still miss the beauty there, even though I live in another beautiful spot now.

My little helper lost interest sooner than I was hoping, but at least she got to mess with the dirt and plants and water for a few minutes.

I admire your ambition level, and your ability to keep doing so much when tired. I guess I used to do that, myself. But now my level of tiredness has reached new heights (or is it depths?), and I just
