RE: Homestead Hodgepodge
That was a long wait for those cherry bushes. I sure hope they thrive for you. You mentioned a desire to achieve balance. If you figure out how to do that, please let me know. LOL

RE: The Bastille Market: Part One
What a beautiful treat for the eyes! I think I could spend an entire day in a place like that...and an entire month's money.

RE: Springing Into The Food Production Thing
Once again, I have fallen far behind in my Hive reading. That's a LOT of garlic! What do you use to fertilize them in the spring?

RE: Memorial Day Garden Update - by Sunscape
We, too, have had yo-yo temperatures. Today it's raining and 54 degrees, but Thursday's forecast is for 93 degrees. Really? That's nuts! The rain sure does make everything beautifully green, though.

RE: Reminiscing About a Time That Didn't Exist
Those three photos are spectacular. Where was the bottom one taken? I don't think life usually turns out to be what we expected it to be. Mine certainly hasn't been.

RE: A Phone Booth While Running Away – A Silver Bloggers Chronicle
I don't remember the first time I used a phone booth, but I know I have done it. You had quite the ramble that day! I hope your shoes were comfortable.

RE: Late May Garden Report
Ha ha ha! Actually, I think one summer when we were moving to another location we didn't have a garden. Long ago.

RE: A Token Post
Are you aware of anyone else who has made their own tokens in a similar way, or did you think that up all by yourself? Either way, it's quite creative.

RE: Slanted Sun: Morning in Dog Marsh
After seeing so many of your beautiful photos, I think I need to go visit Hoquiam! That looks like a great place to take a walk. The path looks so inviting in the very first photograph.

RE: Spokane Lilac Century 50 Mile Bike Ride! - 3hr16min - Sunday
That looks like a great area for a long bike ride. I'm familiar with Green Bluff, but not the rest of your route. Glad it went well for you, and the rain held off til later.

RE: Updating on the last two weeks
As a fellow cat-owner, I am always amused by your cat stories. Felix sure didn't want Prince Tommy to have his catch, even if he wasn't quite sure what to do with it himself. Ha ha! Hope you are enjoying

RE: Big House - Tiny Garden, in Upstate New York State, USA
I am always impressed by the amount of produce you obtain from such a small space. Even with a huge garden, I've never been able to grow enough of everything we like to eat in order to last an entire year.

I am still chuckling over you not recognizing your son without his hair. I can certainly appreciate that. I often don't recognize adult men if their facial hair has changed since I last saw them.

RE: Mid-Week Garden Journal Update - Lilacs in Bloom - by Sunscape
Your spring is ahead of ours! The tulips just began to bloom, and the lilac buds are still tiny and closed. But it's great to see each little sign of spring coming along.

RE: Welfare, Healthcare, and Federalism
I would certainly prefer to see more state- or county-level control, rather than leaving so much to Washington, DC. It would make it so much easier to keep an eye on what is really going on. Still, politicians
