RE: Preserving the Harvest All Week Long - by Sunscape
My sister and brother in law are a few years older than I am, and they are trying to cut back on their garden. It's a process, I think, especially for people who are accustomed to having a huge one. I've

Oh dear, I forgot to mention the kale! I began to give it a lot more water, and it quit getting those brown leaves! I just had some in a soup recipe this evening. Good stuff! But now it has aphids. sigh

Wow, you have a lot of tomato plants! Do you sell them at a market, or do you use them all yourself?

I had never heard of a snake gourd before! What an interesting plant. I loved your story about scaring your brother, and about how he is getting even with you now.

It's always nice when workers do a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I am sure you will enjoy all these updates and improvements you are getting done.

Do you always keep a game in the car for such occasions! If so, I like the idea!

That sure sounds like it was a great experience. I wonder if kids that age nowadays would be allowed to run equipment like that?

Glad you found a good recipe with which to use up some of that eggplant crop. I have too much zucchini this year, but I found out the local food bank will take my extras. You might be able to unload some

It's wonderful that you still have your finger in the pie, as the saying goes. I, too, homeschooled my children, and perhaps I will still have a chance to help a little with a grandchild here and there.

There's a lot going on at your house, and what a busy day! I am not familiar with Juneberries. Since you are harvesting them in August, I am wondering how they got their name. I guess I could look it up,
