RE: Two Months Later....
I forgot to mention that my sister has snowdrops in her yard, and I keep meaning to plant some because they, too, are early spring bloomers. I am glad you got to see some!

RE: I Finished It and… - April 12, 2026@goldenoakfarm
I always find it strange when plants just vanish. Around here, it's usually the fault of the deer. However, they don't eat lupines and mine don't seem to be coming up. Hmm.

RE: A Minor April Update
My favorite sign of spring is the first flowers that bloom, usually the Siberian Squill, at my house. Then the hyacinths and daffodils. The deer seem to have eaten all the crocuses and nearly all of the

You and @goldenoakfarm certainly have a good start on your gardens! I have been tinkering outside a bit, and need to write a post about it.

I think all of us oldsters have those "I'm getting too old for (fill in the blank)" moments on a regular basis. Hang in there; things tend to sort themselves out eventually.

Oh my, yet another mess to clean up! I suppose it always goes with being a homeowner. Goodness knows we've had our share of incidents. Our son recently noticed a drip coming through the ceiling in the

Ugh, don't get me started on scented products! Most people use body wash or soap, deodorant, hair products, body lotion, hand lotion, and then there's the makeup odors on women and the aftershave on men.
