Hive SBI means "Stake Based Income" on Hive. To participate in it, you need to do the following:
- Choose another Hive user which you will "sponsor" (receive the same amount of Hive SBI units as yours).
- Send a whole number of HIVE (such as 1 HIVE, 2 HIVE, 5 HIVE, etc.) to @steembasicincome and include another Hive username in the memo. For example, if you want to "sponsor" @fnvdesigns with 10 HIVE, simply send 10 HIVE to @steembasicincome with the memo
@fnvdesigns.
Alternatively, you can just delegate Hive Power to @steembasicincome instead of sending HIVE. You get 0.5 SBI units for every 1 Hive Power you delegate as long as you continue the delegation.
