As you mention, just the act of creating a list and posting it on social media is a clear way to treat a relationship as a working project or mission, completely forgetting its most of a 'sentiment' mission than 'practical' one. They do not want to spend the time to meet someone spending time and getting to know him/her and learn if there is any spark as they only focus on the rational part of their brain, and forget the sentimental part of their hard.

The problem is not a list, we all probably have mental lists of what we would like in that someone. The problem is trying to solve your needs not considering the other one also has needs to reach that spark.
