The Center told the Supreme Court that a 12-member inter-ministerial committee was formed. The committee will report after six months of observation. The next step will be taken on the basis of that report.
According to the recommendation of the Supreme Court Chief Law Officer K.K. Benu Gopal, the division bench ordered that since then the play of national anthem in the theater is not mandatory.
