Hola amigos de Hive, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, hoy paso por esta comunidad para contarles de un día especial con mi familia.

Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are all very well, today I stop by this community to tell you about a special day with my family.

El nueve de este mes fue el cumpleaños de mi mamá, y para celebrar ese día, le preparé en la mañana una torta de chocolate y naranja que ya les compartí la receta ayer. Era para llevársela en la noche y cantarle su cumpleaños número setenta y cinco junto a algunas de sus hermanas y cuñados.

Ese mismo día al mediodía salí con mi familia a la panadería Baguette Bistró de Paraguachí para comprar unas pizzas e ir a la casa de mis padres a almorzar con ellos, y cuando llegamos a la panadería pido las pizzas y me dicen que ahorita no tienen por qué se les acabó la masa porque no se dieron cuenta que tenían poco y no prepararon más, así que nos fuimos a la panadería Paraguachí Plaza que queda en Loma de Guerra, bastante cerca de la otra y cerca de la casa de mis padres y las compramos ahí.

Llegamos a la casa de mis padres y almorzamos y compartimos un rato juntos, las pizzas estaban buenas, pero eran más pequeñas que las de Baguette aunque eran también tamaño familiar, pero sí estaban muy sabrosas.

The ninth of this month was my mom's birthday, and to celebrate that day, I made her a chocolate and orange cake in the morning, which I shared the recipe with you yesterday. It was to take it to her in the evening and sing her seventy-fifth birthday to her along with some of her sisters and brothers-in-law.

That same day at noon I went out with my family to the Baguette Bistró bakery in Paraguachí to buy some pizzas and go to my parents' house to have lunch with them, and when we arrived at the bakery I ask for the pizzas and they tell me that they don't have any right now because they ran out of dough because they didn't realize that they had little and didn't prepare more, so we went to the Paraguachí Plaza bakery which is in Loma de Guerra, quite close to the other one and close to my parents' house and we bought them there.

We arrived at my parents' house and had lunch and shared some time together, the pizzas were good, but they were smaller than Baguette's although they were also family size, but they were very tasty.

Ya en la noche estábamos preparados para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi mamá con otros familiares, fueron varias tías y tíos y llevaron varias cosas para compartir, unos besitos de coco, antipasto de berenjena, zanahoria, repollo la cuál la comimos con casabe y una torta de Tunja. Temprano mi mamá había preparado unas empanaditas con masa fácil y unos bollitos de pescado para complementar los pasapalos.

Estuvimos compartiendo un buen rato en familia. Mi hermano que se encuentra fuera del país hizo una videollamada, conversó con mi mamá y el con el resto de los presentes y como a las diez de la noche picamos la torta, la pasamos muy bien y fue un lindo compartir que no siempre estamos todos juntos, sobre todo con mis tíos.

In the evening we were ready to celebrate my mom's birthday with other relatives, several aunts and uncles were there and brought several things to share, some coconut kisses, antipasto of eggplant, carrots, cabbage which we ate with cassava and a cake of Tunja. Early in the morning my mom had prepared some empanaditas with easy dough and some fish rolls to complement the appetizers.

We had a good time together as a family. My brother who is out of the country made a video call, talked with my mom and he with the rest of those present and at about ten o'clock at night we ate the cake, we had a great time and it was a nice sharing that we are not always all together, especially with my uncles and aunts.
