You are welcome, my friend!

The Royal Canadian Mint has no standard for the value or size of its commemoratives. For example the CAD $8 coins can weight 28.8g, 32.15g, 25.18g, 23.3g, 7.96g, 20.86g, 46.65g and 38.88g.

Some places in Canada or Greenland. Nobody can be sure where he arrived exactly...

Thank you, my friend! I am very happy to see you here.

Thank you, my love!

Beautiful coin, not so beautiful price. :=(

What I think a little strange on the above coin is the direction of the flag. The sail is receiving a back wind and the flag should be pointing back...

The other two coins of this series (I don't have them) have the same reflection on the water: The Grizzly Bear and the Otter.

I don't have the other two "Reflections of Wildlife" : the Grizzly Bear and the Otter... :=(

Thank you, my love!

Yes. The Goose is so iconic that in 2017, commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mint and several private mints issued coins/rounds with this design.

It is difficult to find these coins at near spot price. They are very beautiful...

It is an old coin (1892-93) and was the first commemorative minted by US Mint. Later, the coins that were not sold, were put into circulation, as a normal half-dollar.

Thank you!

I have another coin depicting the Santa Maria. It is a coin from Rwanda, in the series Nautical Ounces. I will show it in a few days.

There are many uncirculated Columbians on ebay and the prices are affordable, even with the spot at this price...

This coin is circulated and is not shiny. Only one photo with my Galaxy S9.
