Well I may as well start us off with a question! Feel free to ask your own - specific or general!

Who is gardening harder for the apocalypse?

To be fair, I'm always gardening for the end of the world, even though I probably won't have enough space to sustain us. Still, it helps you feel a LITTLE less anxious if you've got your own food growing. I think I'll order more seeds in soon as I don't know how prepped I am in that regard, but there's enough local growers to share seeds if it came down to it. I'm planting a lot more food for the chooks as well, though I worry what they'll eat for protein - maggots?

We're headed into autumn now and we're lucky enough to live in a climate where we can grow something all year round - in autumn and winter it's all about brassicas, garlic, beetroot - lots of greens. I feel like i can never grow too much food because I can then share it with my family, friends and neighbours.
