Mr McAdams makes a common mistake in attributing the moniker "fake news" to Mr McConnell's declaration that funding the war in Ukraine is "the number one priority for Republicans". Mc Connell does not lie - he is absolutely correct. Mr McAdams fails to understand the language of the government. Republicans in government plainly support funding Ukraine overwhelmingly - the vote to approve funding was virtually unanimous. Mr McAdams confused Mr McConnell's assertion as referring to the electorate, which of course, would concern no government official, even if it were known to him or her.
