while listening to this, i got a call from my sister telling me that my mother had been found on the floor of her apartment. she has beern admitted to a hospital, where they ruled out stroke. But they "found COVID", so they are keeping her there and administering remdesivir. Although my mom refused vax (hence the remdesivir), my sister is 100% NPC. I expressed some trepidation regarding the remdesivir and the immediate response was "on you mean that Trump thing".

I don't even know what Trump has to do with remdesivir, except that he likely approved it. However, since I am thousands of miles away from my mom, I won't be able to have much say about her future. Please pray for her.
